Chicken Cacciatore

10 chicken tenders
1 can chicken broth
1 can petite diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup sliced mushrooms (or 1 can, drained)
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
1 handful bacon bits
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 can spaghetti sauce

Put chicken in crock-pot. Pour broth, tomatoes, mushrooms, onion, garlic, bacon and seasoning over chicken. Cook on low for 4 hours. Serve over spaghetti and sprinkle with cheese if desired.


Note: I really like this the next day as a chicken & bean stew. I cut up the chicken into bite sized pieces. Dump the chicken, sauce and a large can of BBQ beans into a pot and heat.
